Problem with Daemon Tools

I' ve got a problem with Daemon Tools pro Advanced edition version 4.10.0218.0. When I try to start IDE adapter, window pops with a message "Unable to add adapter. Device problem 12". Does anyone know, what might be the cause of that?

ask in the daemon tools forum maybe?
for a start, ide adapter doesnt work on some os'es (xp64 if i remember right, and some other one - its mentioned on their site).. also in some cases ide adapter requires scsi adapter to be loaded first....
and dt pro advanced you have to pay for, so if you've paid for it its best that you seek the help in their customer forum ......
