The no CD patch that I got from GameCopyWorld originally worked fine, but later the game started crashing. So I downloaded the 1.02 game patch, and of course, it now asks for the CD again. I checked GCW, Fileplanet and another website for a patch, but haven't found anything that works. Is there one that will work with the US version?

Thanks, but that is the "other" patch that I tried (couldn't remember the name). It appearred to have worked, but when starting the game, it produced an error saying something about not finding some file that it needed.
EDIT: Here is the error that it produces:
Failed to open level file (Title.edf, TitleBackDrop.edn or a* .edt file)
Did you try this crack on a trymedia version of project eden?

No, I hadn't even heard of Trymedia before. But, after Googling, it appears that it is a trial version. I don't know much about it, but I would imagine that a trial version is different from the full CD version that I have. I would prefer to just patch this one...if possible.

Perhaps, you could ask the owner of that no-CD patch (and other stuff) site to help you. (His English is perfectly fine; I just contacted him. :))

So your trying to use a crack on a trial version of the game?

No. That is what I would be doing if I used the Trymedia version that you recommended. As I said, I have the full retail CD version.
I didnt recommend Trymedia :P I only asked if you had it hehehe
But it could be possibly a re-release under a different label so the old crack from another original label wont work.
Have you tried making a mini-image?

Luigi sent me a patch that works. I guess that he is going to remove his own.

Yup, there is a Sold Out Software release out there. And they either update the exe files, either update the installer or both.

What can I say, It's a good company where you can buy old games at a good price....
5 to 10 quids, not much for your pockets...
I have quite a few titles from them and at some I had to use the CD/DVD, as the cracks weren't working...The good news is that you can make a mini-image for DT...
