BioShock (legit) - has anyone had success with Fixed Images?

With the copy protectin "scandal" i houghly doubt that a WORKING Fixed Image will rear it's head.
Shame really, I've got so many games on my drive it's a pain in da ar*e keep having to get up and down to put disks in.
(Got my PC rigged up to my TV)
must admit tho, Glad i bought a legit copy, I've been laughing my nuts off watching the P2P networks trying to flood out loads of NoN-Working copies. ROFL.

Securom never has been really a big issue if mini images don't work now it will work later

The only scandal is that people still claim Securom installs a rootkit though they just use some "abnormal" but harmless regkeys to save license - this has been used long before, but only now with the uncracked activation system of Bioshock people claim it's evil LOL

A Mini Image is working fine if it matches your language version

For those having drive issues with original media during installation: Just have a Mini mounted while installing.

I woould suggest don't waste your money in this crapola game. There a lots or better games you can buy without that stupid activation system

And man activation + cd chek is just stupid WTF? Activation protected games from other companies generally doesn't have cd chek or get removed faster in the updates. No even Microcrap (the empire of evil) did that with Halo 2 or Shadowrun

Yeah I know but hL2 got but the cd chek removed short after release thorugh Steam by Valve .What I mean maybe i wasn't clear is that I just feel insane having both protections systems in the same game If have activation should leave that one and the cd chek should be gone like most activated games (that generally don't have cd chek) is enough pain to the consumer having to deal with that horrible activation system that doesn't work with the original game. Sorry I don't want offend but I also found bad things Steam do like having to connected on line to play single player or the useless junk updates steam downlads to your HD don't let you play the game until the download is finished that yake ages .Was that way when i was on HL2 and I complelely turned in a Steam disliker

Please don't take this as an offense is just my point of view nothing else

To Tippex I havent tried this game honestly. I don't have the desire to do it

And this my last thread about this subject since I'm really not looking for this game or any other Steam game unless doesn't require this system to play single player for MP I don't have complain

The game is actually quite good and diverse.

There has been hints around steams forums that the cd-check will be removed. But we will wait and see, since after all its not Steam's game after all.

Are all 3 fixed images on GCW working properly?

Is DT4.10 required, or it could work with DT4.09+YASU?

Depending on language version all 3 should run fine in DT 4.09 without YASU ... but I haven't tried :D
Now it's up to you ;)

I use Bender image for uncut austrian Collectors Edition.

Bender mini image works fine for me with DT4.09 and latest yasu (with legit bought & activated game). Remember to enable securom emulation in DT.

Remember to enable securom emulation in DT.It's never neccessary to enable an emulation for a mounted image, only for burnt media.
