path of neo help! plZZZ

hey i just needed help with path of neo. i mounted mir-pon.mds with daemon tools and i disabled my dvd drive from device manager. when i click matrix3.exe all
i see is a spinning cd icon on my cursor and then it goes away after a second and nothing happens. Helpp plz!!!
