PSX problem

Purchased in peking china its moded

Problem it refuses to play any Playstation 1 games tried burning with NERO MagicCD Clone cd simply it shows the entering animation screen flashes few times then it leads me into the memory card menu it plays playstation 2 games original and backuped with no problem im wondering where the problem is . Am i doing something wrong when burning the games im trying to burn them at lowest possible speed or im not using the right program :(

Is it possible a moded playstation to refuse to play ps1 discs is it a question of what program are you using or what discs you are using !

You might be booting your ps2 incorrectly. Many mod chips have a different boot method for ps1 and ps2 games. Press and hold reset for about 3 seconds when turning on the ps2 and see if that helps.
