I have been playing Sims2 on Windows Xp pro SP2 with all exp. pack until I decided to install new Operating system.
I bought Windows Vista ultimate, installed Sims 2 in order I allways used. I put nocd in destination directory, but when I tried to play, they inform me " Put original cd in cd drive"? Is It possible that no-cd for Xp, does not working in Vista?
Does somebody play Sims2 on Vista. If answere is yes, I really need help.
My system is:
E6400, 2Gb Rams, wdc 250GB sata2, 8800gts, 550w pwr. supply.

Thank you.

Update it with the original exe with the update on the Sims 2 site, then use the No-CD to open the game. If the game wasn't Vista compatible, there would be a prompt that says so.

Problem is Deamon v3.47 automatic launch, wich is not compatible with Vista. I've tried uninstall and re-install Deamon 4.10 Vista compatible, but no luck, can't log the game....????

Have you tried the Alcohol 120% mounting tool instead?

No, never did and I won't, but I think it would just be a matter of changing the old nocd setup with the updated vista compatible deamon version, for someone who knows how!
