View Full Version : How Do I Copy My SafeDisc 2.70.030 Protected Game?
hey everyone hows life ? :)
I finally Found My Halo Combat Evolved CD which was lost and because of that i was not able to play the game !
but the problem is that i don't want to use it anymore (its not in good condition and i don't want to make it worst!)
Now, I want to BackUp my Halo CD and Use The New One Not The Original One!
Its Protected With : Safe Disc 2.70.030
I Have My Serial Key So I Can Play Online :D
I Have A Sony DVD RW DW-Q120A Drive
Please Tell My How To Back Up My Game !
I searched alot but didn't find anything related to Safe Disc 2.70.030 :(
thank u!
alcohol will make the image
dt/alcohol to mount it..
very very old version of safedisc, there should be a crack out for halo - pretty positive there is.. by fairlight
i think you need to refine your search too for maybe "safedisc"+"backup".. searching for the version number too isn't really a good idea.. also try reading the faq's.. they detail how to do backups too
edit -> you also didnt search too hard
i did 1 search for 'halo' and found -> halo thread (http://fileforums.com/showthread.php?t=78471&highlight=halo)
which leads to -> this link (http://m0001.gamecopyworld.com/games/pc_halo.shtml)
thanks.....
i have made the back up of the disc using alcohol 120%
i selected the Mode = safedisc 2/3/4
now when i try to burn it to a disc ... it gives me a msg like this: "No RMPS info in the source, you are not able to make a copy using this datatype!"
what should i do now ???

I think you're trying to make a backup copy from a backup copy. That won't work; backup your original.
Go to options and check the RPMS emulation. Then backup your orginal disk. I think anyway, this version of safedisk didn't need any emulation. But you need a good writer to burn the disk
now this time i again made a copy using SafeDisc2/3/4 (EFM* Writer)
and this time it didn't give me that msg !
that means i have a proper copy of the game?
so should i now burn the IMG???
will my Sony DVD RW DW-Q120A will make a perfect backup ???
and what does (EFM* writer) means???
