I already read that there is no Crack for this game just wanted to post my frustration I bought the game for cheap installed it required SF driver install and after restart the pc would no longer boot and Vista repair would not even fix the boot issue finally after 4 attempts of repairing I decided to load up safemode still failed to boot did one more repair and again no boot after that I just loaded the last know good config and computer booted.
Removed SF with SFremoval tools and repaired the boot issue what the problem is that Starforce Drivers are not digtally signed by M$ and would not allow the pc to boot.
Kinda a Vista issue and mostly that Crapforce!!!

There is no patch solving Blazing Angels incompatibility with Vista and no patch will come out from Ubi for solving this. It's disrespect towards clients but that's their policy. You can try updating the starforce drivers, but there is no guarantee for success

Express your frustration to Ubi in an E-mail and tell them you're considering to NOT buy their games in the future because of their attitude towars their customers. (It won't change anything but will, at least, relieve you of - some of the - frustration. ;))

I know, I'm replaying again the game and maybe I will submit a savegame which unlocks everything(last time I was lazier and did only the planes whih were required in mission to take the ace rating in SP campaign). The newest SF drivers are, supposedly, Vista ready and digitally signed.
As you can see, once it was out, the crack was quickly submitted. So enjoy the game(though it's frustrating in the arcade mode).

i'm using the cracked files on it but it won't let me change resolutions. only play at 640x480, keeps telling me it can't set res at refresh rate or some thing. anyway around it? no i won't use my original disc since it'll install starforce

In the StartMenu you can see Blazing Angels settings. Change the resolution there and set the refresh rate to 60. At higher resolutions the refresh rate must be lower. At maximum resolution(on my LCD is 1600X1200) you put the lowest resolution(60 is standard for all monitors, if I remember correct)

You may have to set the refresh within the control panel and then set the game settings to match.
