View Full Version : Battlestations NoDVD-Crack ?
Hello all,
I have the nodvd image NS-BAMI_MINI-poseden and still the game asks for the DVD just before starting the action, I can get thorugh the menus and the mission select but then it asks for the dvd.
I have applied the 1.1 patch, then the 1.1 crk from gcw and still it won't run.
Here's what I do :
Mount the mini image using daemon 4.08, drive Z
Run YASU 1.27 (which hides also drive Z which might be the problem)
Launch the game
Should I use some command line parameters in YASU ?
Thanks for the help and sorry for the (stupid) questions :)
Don't use Mini-Image and Crack together.
Either Mini-Image or Crack.
Removed the Z drive using daemon
Did NOT launch YASU (so real dvd drives are still visible)
Launched the 1.1 crk from gcw
Asks for DVD at the "press key to continue" screen
Put back the Z drive using dameon
Installed the image
Launched YASU and removed "non securom" drives (normal drives are still in "my computer")
Lanched uncracked 1.1 game
Get a message from game BEFORE loading saying that the security module cannot be activated....
Am I stupid (please don't answer :D ) ?
Thanks for the help

The "security module cannot be activated...." message means that SecuROM found something suspicious on your PC - read the forum FAQ for more infos.
Hello all, back from the weekend without computer...
I have corrected my launch procedure (mouting the image BEFORE running YASU) and I don't have the "security module" problem anymore but the game still asks for the CD.
Here's PRECISELY what I do
1) Boot the computer without the CD drives in the BIOS
2) Mount the image in daemon 4.08, all options off, drive E
3) Launch YASU 1.27 and cloak the securom devices (not the safedisc ones)
4) Keep YASU opened on desktop once the cloaking message appears
5) Launch BSMI, I've created a profile, go to all the menus and when the game tells me to "press a key to continue" it gets back to desktop with a popup window saying "insert CD in drive"
Where do I go wrong ?
Thanks for the help
I would say the game need some files from the disc.
Do you have installed the game complete?
