So, I installed the game with the DVD, and downloaded the No-DVD/Fixed EXE #1, and put it in the bin folder where all the dll's were and where the original XR_3DA.exe file was, replacing the original. I take out the CD, and try opening up the game with the new .exe crack and the loading screen opens up, it looks like it's going to load, except then the load screen shuts off and nothing happens, I'm just right back on the desktop. I tried the Fixed EXE #2 as well, and that does the exact same thing. And now I can't even run it with the disc.

Can anyone help me out here? What's going on? Hope I won't have to reinstall the whole game and just use the disc...

Let me guess: it crashes without a crack, too. Read the forum FAQ...

I didn't try without the crack. My computer meets the system requirements, and I don't see any reason it wouldn't work.

I'll try reinstalling and loading it up without the crack, though.

Please post your system specifications.
The game is poorly optimised, even with patch 1.003. Though they say it will work on old PCs, that's not true(tested on AMD XP2400 with a Geforce 6600 and 1gb RAM and it was something like frame by frame on low details and the lightning effects stopped)

Well, I'm playing it on an AMD XP3200+, a Geforce 6600GT and 1GB RAM on medium graphics level and the only thing that really annoys me is long loading times inside levels (at always the same places so it cannot be accidental!)...
