Hello everybody,
I had the Problem that Siedler 4 seem to start with an clonecd image loaded, but it won't play the campain, because it couldn't find the Siedler cd.
I found out a way to play Siedler 4 Gold Edition with a backup CD. there is no Crack needed.
-Simply mount a CloneCD image into Deamon Tools V4.06HE (maybe others too) with every Emulation enabled
-There must be no CD within your CD Drive when you start Siedler 4
-The Game checks the hopefully usefull backuped cd image(weak sectors or so) and starts itself
-Before you try to play the campain insert the CloneCD backup cd.
The game thinks now its the original cd although it may have no weak sectors due to the lack of your cd writer skills.
