I got my normal one yesterday, disappointed in the GDI ending. (I didnt use the Liquid Bomb).

And the video was like yeah thats great cya later :\ Not even credits and funky music.

But at least it was good to see the FMV again, which there was little off.

I'm having trouble, and I suspect it it s the No-DVD crack. I'm getting random crashes with the cnc3game.dat mentioned a bunch of times in the error message.

Can you specify your videocard? 'cause looks to me either driver related, either your videocard it's not supported by the game.

In General: If there is a new version, but no crack. or the newest version does not run properly with the crack:
You can rename the newer .SkuDef - Files in the C&C - Folder to roll the game back to an older version

@borisborkem: i also think he problem could be the videocard. maybe try to reinstall DirectX and the latest video-driver

Yup, most of the cracking groups are releasing a lot of nonworking stuff lately. Reloaded seems to gone somewhere in shadows, Razor1911 it's barely active, Hatred and Vitality are waging war against each other and they are releasing cr.p. Maybe they should work together instead of fighting like two idiotic kids.That way they get the prestige and the respect that they want, don't get nuked and everyone would be happy. After all no one denies that the protection schemes are a lot more complicated than they were a few years ago.

If the crack doesnt work, just put the 1.02 crack in the 1.03 folder instead of the 1.03 crack. That will revert the game back to 1.02 until a good crack is released :)

I have problems with this C&C 1.3 NoDVD- Crack ,too ! ! !
With the 1.2 Patch, I did play all the Levels with GDI & NOD without any Failure... Now I'm in the 2.nd Level from the SCRINS and everytime when i'm selecting a TANK with this "Mastermind", the cncgame.dat is collapsing !!!

Bloody marvelous. After about a week and a half from launch this game it's at the fourth patch. Most likely the setup version of the patch 1.04 will be out this weekend. I wonder how many groups will take a bite at this patch, as lately I see an increase in DOX activity...

Every crack for CC3 I try to unzip with WINRAR unzips as a video file and not an .exe. I have never had this happen before. I have unzipped a lot of cracks. These are supposed to unzip as exe files, aren't they? Am I missing something here?

I was using the vitality crack for the 1.03 and when i used the mastermind it shuted down the game , i had to revert to hatred 1.02 and now ive finally finished the scrins campaign ,, seems to me that hatred works better or its just coincidence

I have a problem mounting the mini image. If i select the .mds file in Dtools the little window pops up (please wait or so) but immediately disappears... and it did not mount the image :(. When I select the .mdf file, I get an error. I tried to view the image via Isobuster, error... I am kinda helpless now, and I am wondering if anybody else has the same problem. Both mini image files hav about 80kb ain't that a little small? :P. I am using Dtools 4.08HE

Hi all !

I still have a game freeze at GDI El Cairo mission, just after I destroy the nuclear plant and the new incoming uplink video happen : freeze. Sometimes a hard reboot is needed, sometimes i'm able to kill cn3game.dat.

I tried :

- the mini ISO + DT + Yasu
- Cracked exe's

I tried every patch level of the game from 1.0 to 1.4
I just can't figure it out !!

Am I alone with this problem ?

Hello i'm new in the forum and I have a very wierd problem.
Every no-dvd I download for version 1.4 my NOD32 antivirus recognize it as a potential virus. When I turn off the virus every time I try to unzip it the cnc3game file simply delete itself. I have a working no-dvd for 1.0 but damn I want to watch the latest replays:(

Perhaps, heuristics are set to a too high level in NOD32? Send the suspicious file to the NOD32 developers (via the ThreatSense.net feature of the virus scanner).

Files don't delete themselves, unless they are specifically programmed to. Also, GCW doesn't host virus-infected files. If you're having virus-like effects on your PC and you think your virus scanner is working fine then... well... you have a virus!

my anti virus has some updating problems so it's database is little bit out of date. second of all i downloaded the installer. when i install the no-dvd in the folder or anywhere else, surprise surprise, the cnc3game file delete itself and the only file i have is the uninstall txt (when i turn off my antivirus)

I think you haven't turned off your virus scanner, you only exited the user interface or something and the engine is still working in the background, deleting suspicious stuff. (If the file gets deleted during unpacking the RAR/ZIP archive - that is, it simply doesn't unpack but the archiver gives you no error messages - then it's definitely the virus scanner deleting it silently.) Again, check your virus scanner settings!

You won't have to turn it off. NOD32 is one of the very best virus scanners around so I'm sure you'll find an acceptable solution for your problem.

i've decided to play at 800x600 (graphics settings max)resolution to get more framerate speed but the mouse pointer seems to be big at that resolution...

when playing at 1280x960 (graphics settings max) resolution.. the mouse pointer looks normal but the frame rate is low???

can i use the the default win xp mouse pointer?? and how???

Hey, my friend has a laptop and bought the regular version of C&C3, installed it, and is having some odd problems. i've been reading this thread, and it seems like some stuff works and some doesnt, so i'm confused. His game gets the "cnc3game.dat has encountered an error and must close. sorry for inconvienence" whenever he tries to start a GDI Campaign, or sees an enemy in Online play. He downloaded the "cnc3game.dat" crack, we put it in "retailexe/1.3", but it still did the same thing and the crack didnt seem to work, being he still needed the CD as far as we could tell. I'm pretty lost right now, ANY suggestions? We got the game.dat crack from GCW about 20 minutes ago (April 5th, around 9:30 PM Central)

I'm having the same problem .. Able to install and go in the menu page, but after the loading screen of the GDI campaign after i pressed play, it exit and the same message about cncgame.dat error appeared. However skirmish and NOD campaign i am able to play a while until large enermy forces or base are spotted, then it'll jump out again. The original version was 1.0. Updated it to 1.4 but still the same. The No DVD crack works as no DVD needed but still the same cncgame.dat error. Anyone can help on this ? Thanks .

I got a Toshiba A100/A105 series laptop and my video card is Intel(R) Calistoga Graphics Controller 128MB and I got the same error, but im able to play the skirmish but not the campaign. It always got crash when I want to play the campaign. D'you guys think that my videocard is the problem? and I used the NO-CD and Y.A.S.U. to find out what is the problem. But still the same. Can anyone help me? :(

well ok, that crash is from the game itself by the looks of it...
not protection related..
crashed in d3d9.dll oddly enough, which implies a direct x issue
issue could possibly be...

1. invalid version of dx / corrupted version.. solution : reinstall direct x
2. outdated video card drivers used.. solution : get new video card drivers
3. insufficient memory in the video card.. 128mb is a bit low, but might be ok for skirmish.. campaign probably needs more memory (haven't checked the mimimum specs of the game though)... solution : get a new video card, but for a laptop that could be a little tricky...

so yeh. to answer your question.. its either your video card and/or direct x/drivers not up to date..

oh and using the no cd + yasu is pointless
the no-cd has the protection removed, thus no need for yasu

As you can see laptop chipsets are not supported so you need a desktop PC with either Nvidia or ATI(no onboard graphic card supported either-meaning no Intel or SiS or other onboard graphic card will work)

The game crashes always I use the no-dvd thing. When I copy it to game installation directory and try to play it, it just shows the loading page, then the black loading screen. Then my computer restarts itself! That's really annoying 'cos it takes some time to start the computer up. I think that this issue is caused by my videocard, it's built-in to motherboard and it's ATI Radeon XPress 200 256mb. I'm not sure for that, it was just a guess. Please help me...

The crack is no .exe this time. Just swap the .dat-file with the original .dat-file installed by c&c... By the way... Searching and reading within´ the forums should answer 99,9% of these simple questions.

:confused: does somebody know why when start a campaign it marks me an error message when start the game in CNC3GAME.DAT and it take me out of the game? :( .... the first time that I installed the game I could play it whitout problems, but now just I can play the tutorial, and the skirmish mode takes out me after some minutes (:D I have Kane Edition with languages in English, German and French)

Hello All - sorry if this is a bit dumb (and I have read the FAQs and Newbie hints...but can't find what I'm looking for). So;

I have C&C3 Kane Edition. Was wanting to play with no-cd. Downloaded patch 1.05. Downloaded Gamecopyworld no-cd v.1.05 rar. Came to grinding halt as rar contained .DAT file and I wasn't sure what to do with it. Had a look on this forum and Hagar said to replace the C&C installed .DAT file with the new one. Tried that. No dice. Thought I might be trying to replace wrong .DAT file - it's only 7kb in C&C folder. Is that the right one? If not, can anyone give me a hand here?

I'd like to say in advance that I've read all this posts but still have not the answer I'm looking for :(

I just bought this wonderful game, and was trying to make it work with no-dvd since I had a big big big accident some time ago, and I don't want it to repeat...

ok, then, I install the game and then update to the last version (1.05), then apply the no-dvd crack found on this site, and what happens? when I launch the game, the splash screen appears for some seconds, then it disappears but no game begin! (i've checked in the task manager, and the program actually close itself, with no message at all...)

I also tried with version 1.04 and YASU (1.27) with version 4.09 of DT, but it say to insert the original cd instead of the backup...

i've also tried to don't patch the game, using only version 1.00 and its crack... but even this doesn't work!!!

here is some info about the PC on which I installed the game (it's a laptop):
- amd turion 64x2 1.6 GHz
- 1 GB ram DDR2
- video card NVidia GForce GO 7200
- windows XP sp2 (always updated)
- avast antivirus
- windows defender active

I installed the game trying the standard installation, and also to add the italian language pack (yes, I'm italian)... but nothing changes... :( :( :(

please... HELP!!!

PS: I almost forgot to say that I tried to use many other tools... like securom loader and others.. but still nothing...

EDIT: I've just made it work, but I had to use version 1.02, and, before getting it started, it gives me a black screen saying (if checking in the task manager) that the program is not responding... if I do an alt-tab, and then return to the game, it starts normally... I had not actually tried playing it, 'cause I'm at school now... but i can't go on this way, doing such "ritual" any time I want to start it! can someone help me get it work normally??? also, I think 1.02 is quite outdated...

I've tried repatching, reapplying no-dvd, restarting, closing all unnecessary programs (which I normally do not have any running anyways), disabling daemon and anything else and still no luck. Nothing is wrong with my settings nor would there be anything wrong with my computer specs (since the game has already been running a few times without any problems).

ok i bought CnC3 tiberium wars kane edition and im not even using a crack but im experiencing the same problems as some who are using a crack, where you cant play the gdi campaign and everything else crashes randomly and comes up with an error message saying that there is a problem with the CNC3GAME.DAT file...

Any no-dvd crack for C&C3 will work on any language version. There is nothing in the cnc3game.dat that is language specific (all the language specific bits are in the data files)
Also, anyone seen a no-dvd for 1.06? the GameCopyWorld page for C&C3 mentions it but doesn't have an actual download.

The file that must be overwritten can be found in the Retail directory.
Install game, update, backup the dat.file from the Retail directory(if the game it's updated again, you just put back that file and you won't have to reinstall the game), overwritte the dat file.

Just a curiosity question: Does anyone else here experience the out-of-synch voice and video jerkiness. I know it isn't part of the crack, as it has always done this. I couldn't find anything on EA's site about this. Does anyone know another good site to check out info on tech issues and stuff for this game?

Out of sync/jerkiness sounds like it could be a codec problem. Try uninstalling any codec packs.

This kind of cd-check was introduced with the first LOTR: BFME.
As for the sound, first update your soundcard drivers(if you have an onboard sound card that's a must - keeping your drivers up-to-date it's vital). Also the only codec pack for XP that worked fine for me is K-lite codec pack.

I have just downloaded the CnC3-1.08-no-dvd-crack. I noticed that Vitality's file has 1.04 as part of the file's name (tested on two mirrors).
As I cannot test/play right now I don't know if this is an issue or not.

Interestingly, the 1.08 I downloaded, was 221 MB while the 1.07 was 199 MB, so it seems to be possible to find a 1.08 crack that includes 1.07. I updated directly from 1.06 to 1.08 and it created the 1.07 folders and files as well as the 1.08 ones.

I have read everything thats in this thread but im still having soooo many problems lol to begin i have no idea how to install the patches so than to my understanding u have to install the DAT file thats inside the folder to retailexe folder in the games directory, which i did and nothing the game still asking me for a cd in order to run. Than i read that the DAT files are the EXE crack from there im even more lost :confused: so i tried changing the .DAT file to .exe and it turned into a exe icon with the command & conquer 3 logo so i placed it in the main directory taking out the original exe and tried running it and an error poped out even before the game loads. So than which patch do i use ?? theres a mentioning of the latest patch 1.8 which only comes with the DAT file where does that go into? and do i need to change the DAT into exe or i am doing it alllll wrong :o thanks for the help.

and copy the cnc3game.dat from the 1.08 crack into this folder!!

my hardware is compatible with the game (ranned bioshock no probs) about the video updates im gona make sure they are all updated the direct x are updated to the latest.

Its a problem with the .dat file thats causing this.

Reinstall the game, make sure your PC meets requirements for the game to be run (i.e. amount of RAM etc) and also if using a crack make sure you place them in the correct place as stated in the accompying .nfo file (which can be read with notepad/wordpad)

I reinstalled the game 3 times already made sure i put the crack (.Dat file) in the right place and my pc should totally be able to run this game i have 1 gig of ram so its ok for this game and i mean i played bioshock, battlefield 2142 no probs so i dont think is much of a pc problem more of the crack messing up. Isnt there a .exe crack out for this yet? i went to game copy world and all there is are crack fix patches....

The cnc3game.dat is the file that runs the game so that's the one you replace with the crack, no EXE file needs cracking!

Did you update the game manually or update via the auto updater? I think you need the 1.07 patch installed before the 1.08, either that or something is corrupt! Check yer HD for errors.

i downloaded the 1.8 official patch and from there i installed it. Ill try installing the 1.7 patch 1st n than the 1.8 hopefully it changes something :(

Um. I dunno are you making sure your not changing the exe file. Because you have to put the new dat file into the retail for whatever patch you have not the exe.

Hi fellaz! I got the same restarting problem. Bought the game last week, installed and updated to the recent patch (1.8) with no cd patch to right directories but whenever I hit the exe file, green loading screen shows up and then my system restarts. I've almost tried with every version but it's been unsuccessful. Also tried without crack, an error occurs about missing files. I have:

Pentium 4 CPU 3.00 GHZ
2 GB ram
Win XP SP2
Ati Radeon x1950pro 256 mb (video drivers and direct x versions are up to date)
Seagate 450 gb

No, everything's installed well. In order to make it easier (because I've been experiencing some laser problems with my dvd writer since September) I did copy all files on dvd in one folder on my desktop then I installed the game successfully. After the restarting problem, I've tried to convert the copied files into iso format, but WinIso gave me an error like this around %64:

Assertion failed: filepos == curpos, file
D:\Company\(qui c è una sigla strana!)\Winiso\src\DLL\CIImage Write\CImageWrite.ccp,line246

Anyway I converted them as Iso format somehow, and mount it with Daemon but It didn't work again, keeps restarting. Could it be compatibility problem with my video card?

in which folder do you extract the cnc3game.dat ?

you have to be extract it in this Folder:

[C&C 3 Game Folder] \RetailExe\1.9\

I've just tried the 1.09 crack and it seems to work for me. Did the Tutorial, then the first mission of the GDI Campaign and then went onto load ACT 1 and did a bit of the Pentagon mission upto garrison the watchtowers without any problems!

Using AMD 3.0Ghz Dual Core, 2GB RAM, 7950GT 512mb with 169.04 drivers.

Thank God, I didn't unzip it in each of the 1.0 to 1.8 folder. Anyway, is anyone gonna correct the instruction cause it refer to cnc3game.exe and it tells u to unzip in the main directory.

I would have written that myself but I checked it out and, no, the nfo file does not mention that the executable does not have the usual ".exe" extension. ;)

Well, I guess it was in the older ones, u need to replace the .DAT files, but always first replace ur original one from the previous version before updating to next version, so if u wanna install patch 1.8, first place back the original 1.8 DAT file in his folder, before updating, then install patch, then backup the original .DAT and copy the cracked one to those folder

Hi all,
I'm pretty sure that this hasn't been asked before and it isn't against forum rules...but do the cracks work online. I downloaded it and found out that it doesn't have an .exe, so I am to assume that servers only check for valid cd-keys and not valid files?
And if they don't work online, how can I run BlindWrite-backuped CD's without BW being installed? Cuz my other games have BW and I really don't want to go through the hassle of installing another partition. Thanks! :)

Most no-CD patches that change the main executable don't work online because they're considered "modified content" just like main executable hacked for online cheating (which really, really sucks).

But isn't the main .exe left alone (cnc3.exe)? It's only the .dat file that's changed, so technically it should work right?

Obviously, cnc3.exe is just a loader as it's not changed by the crack. (It is always the important parts that a crack changes and that the game itself must protect, both copy protection- and online hacking-wise.)

But my BW issues isn't directly related to cnc3, unless you can solve my problem that cnc3 is always detecting BW as an emulator. :D

With your logic, there should be no game-related discussions on this forum, only those related to (specific versions of) specific copy protections. But it is not so; such a question is too general in the PC Games forum and too specific for the CD/DVD Copy Protections & Utilities forum.

Anyway, for a test, uninstall Blindwrite, install Daemon Tools 4.11, mount the Blindwrite image into it and use YASU 1.3/1.4 hide it. (According to its manual, YASU doesn't seem to support Blindwrite.) Does that work?
