Hallo, i have installed Silent Hunter 4 "german"

Patch 1.1
Voice pack

Now when I use the Crack 1.1.

I have a bluescreen and Cracsh to death direkt after starting the game.
Only in this game i have problems, so i think there is a Problem in the Crack!

Can someone copy that?

Could it be, that the problem is the german voicepack from ubi?

Well you see it when you use original disc if the crack is the source of BSOD.

There is no problem when using the original cd, only when using the Crack.
But i dont know why!

seems like Securom and SH4 have a new way to stop using cracks, they stated in official forums, that there are bugs which only happen, when u use a crack. hate to put my dvd in the drive all the time, especially when u play alot games!

is it fixable?

Do you have the same bluescreen ctd

I found, that the CTD caused in the movies which are played, when SH4 starts. So You have to delete the movies.

SH4 uses a kind of fade. I think there is some work to do.....

Did you try the updated v1.1 fix from ViTALiTY (dated 25-3-07)? There was a trigger issue with the previous exe (dated 22-3-07)

updates don't help with the protection problems because they are not bugs but protection systems that are supposed to happen if not cracked properly. These include sailers randomly calling out numbers (constantly happens after a while), characters appearing as 2d objects instead of 3d and eyes popping out (occasionally). Also maybe career mode not working correctly. These all arise from having a no-cd crack and are not bugs and probably others (thou there are lots of bugs as well). Seems there done a bang up job with secrom on this game.

with sh3 which had starforce gave it a exe of the download version.

sh there are 4 likewise as down load version
and with this there are no problems with fade

much-calibrated one does not need this exe it with this version dvd gives there

my guess is they are also securom protected (the drm version of the protection) and need to be unwrapped too. so the triggers still can made the game behave odd when they are not properly cracked / routines not rebuilt.

Some Years before there was a programm caled Crackmaker or something like that.

This programm compares Files...

The original and the Cracked. This programm build a litle *.exe whitch changes the original into the changed one.
If somebody has the downloaded version SH4.exe and the DVD.exe he could make a Crack with this Programm.
