I am just trying to install STALKER, and I get blue screen of death at, what seems to be a random time during the install process. It is that IRQ_none_the_less_equal, or whatever it is.

Is my hardware all of a sudden screwed up? I never had problem with installing games before.

There is a leaked copy floating about in loser space.

So yeah anyone who asks about stalker before the release date has probably been there and lives there.

Windows Installer does such BSOD's on my machine when an unorthodox file system driver (namely, the ext2 file system driver) is active. (The fuckin' software checks all drives and chooses the drive for its temporary stuff on its own, GRRR!!! ) But it can be a not-so-up-to-date IDE/motherboard driver, too!

I own my own Store, and I have it pre-ordered and it hasnt arrived yet.

I expect it to arrive tomorrow though.

I found it, was a memory error, and I am about to send my ram back to the store.

Quite logical explanation if you think about it.
