I am looking for a no cd fix for stronghold legends v1.2 .Can anybody please help me:):) please!!!!!
use the fixed image by poseden. It still works I am told.
Or you can try to make an image of your own disc if you have one.

Its at GCW, under the letter S.
And you will see it in the list, and on its page will be a fixed image.

There is not 1.2 crack on the internet, after much searching i decided to research alternative ways to get around
the securom copy protection. I spent a lot of time trying different things and found something that worked.
Here is how to play Stronghold Legends V1.2 no crack needed (works multiplayer also)
1.) Install Stronghold Legends
2.) Update Legends to version 1.2 (can search online for patch 1.2)
3.) Download the SL legends mini image from here http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ZQYHHSWT
4.) Mount the poseden file using the latest version of daemon tools lite ( mount the mini image)
5.) Goto your desktop and click stronghold legends and play version 1.2!

when i try open YASU it says.
unable to locate the file "daemon.exe" or dtpro.exe". please copy "YASU.exe" to your DAEMON Tools lite/pro directory, then run the application again
Please help. i dont see where the pro directory is, or what it mean.

Then do windows search for daemon.exe

Or, for the very latest Daemon Tools Lite, dtlite.exe.
3.) Download the SL legends mini image and YASU from hereunable to locate the file "daemon.exe" or dtpro.exe". please copy "YASU.exe" to your DAEMON Tools lite/pro directory
Get YASU from the original website, daemon tools 1, not some upload....
Rename DTLite.exe to daemon.exe, for the time being; & this solution is also in their forums.
P.S. The startup of DAEMON Tools will also have to be changed (from the registry), depending on your settings/use
for step 2 why not just copy dtlite.exe as daemon.exe
thus solving any of the bullshit with having to edit the registry...

6.) Open YASU and click cloak (this will hide daemon tools from being detected by securom)
7.) Goto your desktop and click stronghold legends and play version 1.2!
I do all theses steps but when i try to run the game it says
"Please insert the original disc instead of the disc drive support"

Then it's not working for you.
DT+ yasu is not working for everyone, depends on hardware, (system) config and so on...hard to specify on one single thing.

DT up2date? Mds mounted? Other emulators like Clonecd or Blindread and write on your pc? Got virtual drive the lower letter compared to your real dvd drive?
The protection of Shl v1.2 is securom 7.30 with sll 1.2.1 crypted dragonfly.dll
Yasu is not needed i think.
"Please insert the original disc instead of the disc drive support"Such a SecuROM error message doesn't exist. Would you please post the exact wording ?
DT+ yasu is not working for everyone, depends on hardware, (system) config and so on...hard to specify on one single thing.Except for latest SecuROM 7.40 YASU should work on the vast majority of systems.

using google translator the message is

See http://www.securom.com/no_orig_found for more details."

Does not have to. As i said....has nothing to do with SR, simply basic system settings and so on. If you have a lot of trash on your system and don't have the knowledge, the case that it's not working is very high.
working!!!!!!!!!!! thanks:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

After daemon tools got updated the YASU version stopped working with it, also YASU is no longer needed, just mount the mini image in the file before playing and it will work. (latest version of daemon tools lite is the only program i have had it working for) I will edit my old post and delete the YASU steps as it is no longer needed.
