Hi ppl i nedd help, does anyone knows how to make Silent Hunter 3 patched with 1.4b run with windows vista?

Chances are to see a copy protection patch from Ubi. All the games protected by Starforce can't be played on Vista. Already a couple of companies released such patches. Starforce protection interferes with Vista protection(latest versions of Securom 7 also is doing the same thing) so the companies have a the choice of either giving up on the revenues or releasing such a patch.Examples of games with the starforce protection officially removed: Codename Panzers Phase One and Two, X3, Sacred Underworld, Beyond Divinity. Examples of Securom 7 protection officially removed: Supreme Commander.
Have a little patience and a bit of faith.
Also try to run the exe in WinXP compatibility mode. For some games it worked.
