Hey there! I have a question concerning these two games:

Dracula: Resurrection - the Fixed EXE I am using (http://www.sendspace.com/file/hrln0t)
Dracula 2: The Last Sanctuary - the Fixed EXE I am using (http://www.sendspace.com/file/fw192p)

All the files of the first game are located:

- CD1 - in the Data folder
- CD2 - at the root

All the files of the second game are located in the DataM1 & DataM2 folder on the CDs

Is it possible to patch the Fixed EXE that it would read all files from the Data folder in the Dracula game directory / DataM1 & DataM2 folders in the Dracula 2 game directory instead of all the CD inserting/changing hassle? It would be nice if I could copy all the files to my HD and play without the discs inserted.

I've uploaded the Dracula Resurrection and Dracula 2 T.L.S. NoCDs to GCW,
may You have reach some hours (if Empire or other Mod/Admin will get it).

This one ? --> In my boot ini: /noexecute=optin /fastdetect

I have WinXP SP2 32Bit DK + 2 Gb ram.
The new GeForce 8800 GT 512.

Install Dracula The Last Sanctuary.
Copy over DataM1 + DataM2.
Extract the Crack files. Exec Regsetup.exe. And run Dracula2.exe.
Then bang. The error.

This only happen when i run the crack file.

yup optin.. so your os/chip supports dep...
try disabling dep for the exe (cant remember if opt in method uses atm)...

control panel->system->advanced->performance->data execution prevention

try adding the executable into there (assuming 'turn on dep for all programs....' is enabled (2nd radio button)... otherwise try setting the exe to run in compatability mode...

Is DEP XP-specific or it exists in earlier Windowses and/or Vista, as well? Perhaps, it would be worth mentioning in the FAQ...

hmm i think its xp specific, but theres 2 flavors as well, 'software' and 'hardware' (hardware being chipset dependant obviously)...

the usual 0xC0000005 issue comes from memory being marked as read only (or not executable in some cases) and its then executed / written from, old cracks do this sometimes, and old packers too (made before dep arrived)... so its worth checking usually

I got the dep thing working. But, i still get the error.
I have set all the compatability's there is. Still the error.
So, i think it is the crack. When i not run the crack, there is no problems

Why don't you make Alcohol images of those 2 games and run them without cracks in Daemon Tools?
