View Full Version : Resident Evil 4 Video Error

I have a problem when the game playing the video.
Everytime when there is a video playing i see nothing but only blank and when in the game hv some scene example like Chapter 1 Leon going into a house then the scene start,suppose to hv person around the house but there is nobody only the house background.
So wat exactly is the problem?

There is a crack.
Biohazard 4 and RE4 are the same game.

As Empire and me already mentioned: This fixed exe is no fixed exe but the original unprotected exe of this game.

This game does NOT have a copy protection.

Missing video etc, sounds like either


1. Bad drivers

2. The version of RE4/Bio4 is not legit and perhaps not a gold, i.e. incomplete.

3. Or a number of other things.


But dont just say there isnt a protection, it may be a new one that when failed does those errors. Its easily done.

but why should atari invest money for a special copy protection for a crap game?

In your eyes its a crap game, but in others its great.


Doesnt have to be an amazing protection to fool alot of people, remember Red Alert 2 lol

I've seen discussion of this error before. The cut-scenes are stored as videos (like the PS2 version). When the videos cannot be played, the game falls back to rendering the cut-scenes in real-time (like the Game Cube version), except that the models for the cut-scenes are missing. So you get a background with no characters on screen.

There's likely a codec problem on your system that's preventing the videos from being played.

I'm using Radeon9600SE, DirectX9.0c(aug)
No idea wheater it is incomplete or not bytheway it is pirated lol.
