Help..Want to put TV show on DVD

I was skiing today so I taped a TV show via ATI software to my hard drive. Now I want to copy it to a DVD so I can watch it on TV via a DVD player. The show is 6gigs (a two hour special and comercials etc.) How do I compress it and copy it to a DVD. Is this possible?

NeroVision Express can convert pretty much anything into a DVD. And there are tons of other programs like that...
