Wow, that was quick. Guess it was not as secure as they thought. It is the same protection as many blu-ray titles, so that is probably next (after source and method is released).

All I can say is....who in their right mind would host 15-30gb movies on their hard-drive? That is a lot of space, especially when you can host a hundred compressed movies instead of about 4 HD movies on a 100gb HDD.

In case anyone wants an update, the universal DRM key was cracked. This is the protection that HD-DVD's rely on.

On a side note, the new AnyDVD unlocks HD-DVD media. It is unknown how they do it, but you can use it to copy the video files to your PC.
