Chronicles Of Riddick---HELP!!!!!!!

I have been trying to play this game. The installation was without any errors, but when i am trying to launch it , I get this message "This Game Requires Driver Support For OpenGl 1.3 or Higher" after this another message of "Unhandled Exception" is displayed and the game crashes back on to the desktop. I have a 7600GT and latest Nvidia drivers. Please Help! Previously i had played this game on my Geforce4 Ti 4200and it launched and ran fine.

Get the latest patch from the publisher/developer

And also make sure the latest drivers for the card is installed.

Yeah do what dabhand said. Actually it shoud run pretty well on that card strange

I also think it could be a problem the game don't recognizing correct the card for being too new since the year the game was released (2004) and maybe was prepared to more old cards since the geforces 7 still werent released in 2004.Simiilar with POP Sand of times not recognizing correctly some geforce 6 & 7 cards (there was a small patch for it)

EDit I remembered this and yes you need a patch for the game

To fix the error please update the game to v1.1.

Please select your game from the drop-down and perform the search.
Make sure to choose PC for the platform on the next page, and then download/install the patch v1.1 for The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay.***
