Were can i find the v1.41 no cd patcher for battlefield 2 whats the info on this thang
Using a NoCD crack for BF2 will not allow you to play online.
Use the a mini image mounted in either Daemon Tools or one of the later versions of Alcohol and you will be able to play online. ;)

I am curently useing a no-cd patch for verson 1.40 online thang is the game is ageing and no one is makeing new cracks for it i was hopeing to find someone that was talented that could make one for me :D
yes you can Grumpy
Errr no you cant! Not on ranked servers anyway. And if you are still using the old 1.40 patch then you are not playing on ranked servers. ;)
I only play on ranked servers, why would you want to play on anything else?
And a NoCD will not work on the ranked servers, (not the ones ive tried anyway) only a mini image will.
The chances of anyone making a proper NoCD for BF2 is very slim as the mini image method works for every patched version. ;)
...if you are still using the old 1.40 patch then you are not playing on ranked servers...As long as there is no V1.41 update for the linux server software, it is possible to play ranked on V1.40 (but not with a cracked exe). ;)
@GLH
Yes I understand what you are saying. :)
What I mean is most 'ranked' servers have now gone to v1.41 so unless you also run v1.41 then you wont be able to play on them if you are still using v1.40. ;)
And most (if not all) of the ranked servers now run v1.41. They are in my part of the world anyway. :)

Read the forum FAQ.
Hi everyone, quick question (so I won't create another thread)
I'm trying to play bf2 on linux (with cedega), I installed it, patched it and everything went fine. But it doesn't recognize my dvd when I run the game, nor the mini image.
Anyone knows how can I mount the mini image so cedega recognize it? I'm currently doing a mount -o loop, if anyone has a better idea I'm hearing.
Thanks
About this BF2 thing... I saw that a lot of these cracks looked like inline patches some time ago if memory serves me correctly. Maybe somebody could go through the trouble of creating a loader crack? All you would need is the original and the crack, and you should have no troubles making a loader... Some people might prefer that to a mini image maybe.
