After a failed modchip installation, I took my V5/6 PS2 for a repair. the guy repaired and installed the modchip fully, but also tuned up the laser, as it has never been able to play CD's and took about 30 seconds to load a PS2 original.
The guy then said that the DVD's will load after a few minutes (hasn't worked for me) and the CD's load perfectly as I have found out. He said that the PS2 dvd coil needs replacing but I can't seem to find any on the net.
Any help?
