well, it makes the game run, but does not apply the roster updates, if you check the changes of the patch in the official webpage of FIFA 07 you will see the changes and they are plenty.
the fix for v1.0, for some reason makes the game run without the changes in the roster and maybe the gameplay fixes, it's strange cause when i tried to play with the 1.0 fix, the first time that i started the game after the patch, it took several time to start and the disk were working hard, then the game started normally but the roster updates were not on the game.

I can confirm that the 1.0 No CD Crack does NOT work with the new 1.1 version of the game. You can start the game with the 1.0 No CD Crack but you do not have the roster updates. Im thinking that the updates in the patch are tied in to the new .exe. Please help us fifa players out. Thanks!

Here the method:

1. you need an image of the "ORIGINAL" game / not "downloaded"
2. You need the SD4 Blocker

Install the game with the "ORIGINAL" image. After, you install the Fifa07 v1.1 patch and then install SD4 Blocker and integrate it in the "ORIGINAL" Fifa07.exe.

but getting back to the first point, why this fix is taking so long???
the update was very big and a fix would be much appreciated
i want to do it myself, but my programming knowledge does not meet the minimum requirements to perform the job....

When you install the Patch v1.1 you can't youse Matchmaker you online can Play Offline and thats shit.

This is the usual RTPatch error message when the old file contents are not as expected. Use the original EXE instead. If you don't have it, re-install the game. (And read the forum FAQ, too!)

Its actually a 'Maxi' image and not a mini image.

I still don't get it to work with the maxi image and the new YASU 1.03, this is what I do :

- I have Fifa07 fully installed
- I mount the image in the latest DEAMON tools
- I launch YASU 1.03
- I start Fifa07 1.1

the "DVD emulation software has been detected" message pops up again.

The old fifa07.exe (version 1.0) works fine though, as it did with the other virtual disk hiders.

Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?

you've downloaded the image form GCW?
all your steps are right but remember it is a german image, i use it with nordic version of the game and works fine. it seems that this time EA Sport made a great affort with the protections.
btw, my deamon tools version is 4.08HE.

Hi folks... here´s what i did...

I jus get the game (german version) and installed it. I used an image made with alcohol... first i played the game with the 1.0 no-cd-c**** but with the update came the prob... then i heard about yasu... so i get the patch installed it, and mounted the image with D-Tools (works with alcohol too). No Mini-image needed here... :) Started Yasu 1.03 and it works fine here... but forget the game with IE7... game crashes all the time when u install the new Internet Explorer... still dunno why... :confused:

Hope i could have help u all with that coz i was searching for solving this prob a long time... and good luck to all...

Still won't work on my rig, I used deamon tools 4.06 upgraded now to 4.08HE but no good either. I have edited the Fifa database by adding new teams and players though, maybe the patched .exe functions only with an original database? (which would be a pretty dumb move from EA, but seeing how they handled the patch release it wouldn't surprise me)

I am having problems getting the cracks to work. I have tried basically all of them and still have not succeeded. Before patching I get the error I expect saying that I don't have the dvd in the drive. After patching, I don't get that error but all that happens is a black screen comes up for a few seconds and then returns to the desktop.

Another thing I have noticed, even before applying the crack, is that the fifa07 icon is does not have the graphic you would expect it to have. Instead it has the graphic like you would see if you had a file type that the pc had no program to run.

I was then thinking that maybe I had a program installed on my machine that was on some sort of EA Sports banned list (like dvd backup programs). Is this a possibility and if so how can I get around it?

I remember i had this same problem also with the 1st patch of fifa07. then a new crack came and fixed everything. Does anybody know if this crack is coming again this time or not ?????

If you can't apply the official patch then you either don't have the original executable (only the cracked one) in the game's directory or you have the wrong version/language/whatever. Re-install the game and try again. (And read forum rules #1 and #3.)
