Burning speed.

I got this weird problem. I use Nero 7 for burning cd's and dvd's and my dvd burner got X16 speed but since yesterday it wont burn faster than 2X and it take about 30min to burn a hole dvd disc. I have tried everything but i don't know what the problem is. So plz if someone knows anything about this problem help me. Thanks.:(

The burning speed is a speed that both the burner and the media supports. Obviously, there was no speed other than 2x that both supported. Or you have a buggy firmware and/or Nero; update both to the latest version!
