i think i may have made a error is get a game off e bay from UK
been do some reading, i now understand we use differnt video format

bid on the game HELO, and won, and it contract, so gluess i struck with
it, for better or worst
i never once thought of differnt video format, PAl stardard in UK and
we use NTSC in canada
now im unsure if it will work now

question is how many ver of helo are there?
would ther all work on any compter?????????

PC is completely region-free. No PAL or NTSC differences whatsoever, so your copy will work whichever country you bought the game from.

The PAL and NTSC standards are for consoles, movies and TV in general.

Perhaps, NTSC video (24 or 30 FPS) will jitter on your PAL monitor but that can occur only because of the refresh frequency; e.g. at 120 Hz, NTSC video will play fine (120 is a multiple of both 24 and 30!) and PAL video will jitter (120 is NOT a multiple of 25).

I don't think PC game videos are in PAL or NTSC, but correct me if I'm wrong.

The resolution and the FPS may differ but, for a PC, it doesn't matter.

Which is good, since american Ebay lets me buy loads and loads of crap I was too young to buy when it was released in my own land of birth... :-)
