Outrun 2006 Coast 2 Coast crash?!

here's the story:
i went to the US, bought the outrun dvd....
back home (in The Netherlands) i installed it...and everything went fine
...but as soon as i started a race...and i pressed a key... my laptop crashed...showing a light blue screen
(no...not a windows blue screen of death) and i had to manually reboot my laptop...

anyone know what happened? i cant race:( :confused:

Edit: it doesnt matter which key i press...all of them let my laptop crash

i dont want to break the rules or somthing...but if you have this problem...TURN OFF YOUR SOUND HARDWARE ACCELERATION!

Nope, you haven't broken any rules; actually, useful information is always welcome. But I somehow have the feeling that this hint is mentioned in the manual or the official game support forum... ;)
