Hello, well I made a selfbooting game with bin2boot. The game does work on my dreamcast just fine, but whenever I mount the image with daemon tools it never pop's up with the browser window like if I were to with a official release of a DC game. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Perhaps because its an emulated SCSI drive? Not sure what you are trying to do with the image in DT though?

There are a few reasons why I am using DT with it, one is for use with chankast and another is just to be able to mount it and extract the data from it. I just dont see why the official releases of the dc games are mountable with DT, but cdi's that are created with bin2boot do not seem to work the same way. I know of a homebrew version of bin2boot called CDI4DC v0.2b (http://sbibuilder.dc-france.com/index.php?mod=archives&ac=voir&id=94) that corrects this problem, but it itsnt ment for Katana or WinCE executables. I tried it out once and does infact work, but the game it creates doesnt boot. Could this program possibly be modified to work with Katana and WinCE executables?

Ask on dcemu not here :) bin2boot uses alternate selfboot method like data-bootdata. Echelon method uses bootaudio-data or bootdata-data. Thats why.
