Well i downloaded this patch for linux (Call of Duty 2 v1.3 [358 KB] Private Linux Server Fix) from http://gf.wiretarget.com/call_of_duty_2.htm

Then i uploaded the cod2_lnxded to the server, waited for 40 mins. and it still isn't cracked, then i typed in the rcon console: /PB_SV_GUIDRelax 4

Well, now I can only connect, but when others connect, it sais Keycode in use! :S

What should i do now?

Well, among other things, your primary problem is that that's a Windows based server ;)

Hmm... OKay assuming this is a FTP SSH client of some sort....

IF you have Linux runnning on the server what version... Fedora Core.. RedHat.. Centos.. Debian.. Suse.. if not you need a linux server..

If you are not familiar with linux you may want to google Vmware and set up a linux enviroment to teach yourself how to set up a normal COD server on linux. (Google is your friend).

Once you are comfortable with a linux enviroment stop back and I will try to help you best I can.. I perfer Red Hat Enterprise Linux v4.. but you will likely find Fedora - Core to be much more suitable.. and I also work in a enviroment where Red-Hat is readily available.. so maybe Fedora-Core 4 is what you want.. I usually use Windows for Game-Servers just because I change them often and I use the server for other tasks... like a web page I never finshed.. etc.

BUMP:

I posted a reply to your topic and in reading further.. I see you only have FTP access to the server..

You are going to need Root access to the server in order to run these commands,, FTP is mainly for Running a web server (httpd) such as Apache.

Ask your hosting provider about a dedicated solution or a virtual server with Virtuozo or something similar..

I recommend hostmysite.com.. they are not always cheapest but very good phone support.(I work in the Infrastructure Department..shameful plug, I know)

@Dieselbrad
I dont consider your last post as bumping as you have added new information. ;)
Its the people who Bump a thread just to ask the same question which annoy us.
