It isnt a PC Game though its actually a dvd game, to be more precise.

I dont know anything about this game but are you saying it not a game which is played on a PC but a game which you would play on a normal (standalone) DVD player?

Its a new series of games, that play on a home DVD player.

Try this, but it may take a bit of time

Get DVD Decryptor and dump the DVD to a folder on your HD using it.

Then use CloneDVD 2 to compress it for you to fit on DVD-r.

thanx but already tried that and it still hasn't any interaction. I have just tried 1click dvd copy pro, and so far it has worked, so I will try other dvd interactive games.:D

I think the dvd transcoders (DVD Shrink, CloneDVD, ...) aren't working with interactive dvd-games.
I would say the easiest way to backup these dvds are to read the original dvd with dvd decrypter to hd and then burn it on a dual layer dvd.

(Thread moved -back- to "DVD Backup"-Forum.)

agreed, but doesn't work with millionaire, so 1click dvd copy pro does succesfully, just trying family fortunes with dvd decrypter and clone dvd. Maybe none of them do interactive games even though there are in vob and ifo's. never mind eh! keep trying.:)

The family fortunes is 7.33gb, i'm trying to put it on a 4.7gb, thats why im having problems. If I was to stick it on a dual layer then it would make it easier, but i havent got any.:)

I suppose that there are embedded videofiles somewhere on the disc and you'll probably have to unpack those somehow and reencode them in lower quality. That would be the solution as you can't remove any game content without breaking the game experience in one way or another.

I have managed to decrypt them onto my hard drive and they work from there, and when i put them onto a 4.7gb disc they also work on the PC, but not my standalone dvd recorder, and yet 'who wants to be a millionaire' does work on my standalone. I now will try other dvd players so here goes.:)
