I have a PS2 just run out of warranty and would like to start backing up the overworked/scratched games that cost a mint. Do I need to modify the PS2 in anyway to be able to play the copied games? and what program would I use to copy the disks?

Yes, You will need a modchip.

RecordNow MAX or DVD Decrypter are both excellent choices for backing up your PS2 games.

See the Ultimate Info STicky at the top of the page, all your desired answers will be in there...

WTF are you talking about?? he asked for help making backups of his ps2 games. I dont know where your going with your reply but i dont think you can buy a legal original game in PAKISTAN for less than a dollar so making cd-r/dvd-r backups makes pretty good sense to me
