Midway Arcade Treasures Deluxe Edition

Got this sitting here in the box now after a complete re-format to get rid of the Starforce crap on my PC. Never thought to go checking to see if they actually protected this.

Anyone know if there a no-cd available for this one? Or even just a non-starforce executable?

The files were ripped from the unprotected DVD by masterfaster

I have tested the NoCD/unprotected files and they work with the CD version.


Installation instructions:

1. Install all 4 CDs
2. Install update
3. Unpack the NoCD/unprotected files to installation folder and overwrite old files.
4. The games start/work ok and without the need of the CDs. (Goodbye StarForce protection)

Note: Maybe not all files are needed from the NoCD packs, probably only the exe files will do. But what masterfaster told me, is that the DVD had newer versions of some of the files, and thus he included them also.

Can you please tell me where there is information about those two no cd links? That game is not on gamecopyworld nor megagames.

Hi Daffy, quick note to thank you for posting this info. I have the cd for this and my son now wants to play Mortal Kombat. It didn't work on my windows 7 computer and I got really irritated by the lack of support by the maker of the copy protection and midway.

At any rate I followed your directions and it now works great. Thanks!

Sorry for bumping an old thread.

I just bought this set and installed MAT2 on Win10.

Upon reset (after granting Starforce permission) my PC wouldn't start, nor restore, nor startup fix.

So after a Freshinstall, (luckily I dont store too much on C drive) I decided to give up on the game, but then I ran across your forum. I thought what the heck, I don't want to let this game beat me!

So can someone please re-upload the patches posted above?

I dont have to install anything Starforce right?

Edit: The reason I ask is because with this game after you install the game, the next normal thing to do would be to "play game", but when you click on "play game" a little quick pop-up opens and says "reset your pc to play game" and thats when Starforce installs the incompatible drivers that kill Win10 start up.

Just to be clear, the patches posted above will bypass the Starforce prompt altogether, correct?

As arcade ROMs do you mean Games for a typical console emulator????..

I have some files available. I have the game cracked from some files that I downloaded a few years back. I pulled the files that I believe will crack the game. It would be good if GameCopyWorld would have these files on the site in case we need them in the future.
