is there a way to play this without the cd? i tried the regular battlefield vietnam fixes but they dont work

Yea, just install BF Vietnam and all official patches/mods/maps for it and use the regular fix. This way, you'll have less problems - Redux is f**ked up in terms of online play compatibility and other bugs.
