Hiya... got a bug. I installed the game and the protection drivers. All worked fine for some days. Then I installed some microsoft windows update critical patches ( or, rather, my computer installed them automatically ). :( The game ceased to function and keep asking for the original dvd, which is in the drive. Desinstalled and reinstalled the game, but to no avail... What can I do if there isn't a nocd patch ?

Talk to the publisher or developer, giving them your PC spec. They should help you out.

If you have problems with a game without using a crack, the please contact the publisher.

If there was a crack you could try that one, but it's Starforce 3 and there is no crack available so any protection problems have to be resolved by the publisher.

Oh, and remember to tell the publisher's tech support workers, what are the updates you installed (check the Windows Update installation history, and write down the KB****** numbers). This will further help the tech support staff to determine the cause of the problem, and thus find a workaround or create a patch.
