Auto-booting?

Greetings.

I'll be getting that slim PS 2 this weekend. I heard that most modchips for slim-type consoles are auto-booting, meaning there are NO special booting procedures, as was the case for disc-tray consoles.

Just out of curiosity, is this true?

Any recommendations?

The majority - if not all mods in production now are all auto-booting. As for recommendations, kudos goes to both the Matrix Infinity and the Crystal CC1.1...
