Okay, I have the original Blazing Angels disc, but I made a backup of it on CD-R. Good thing I did, cause I dunno where the original is now. <_< Anyway, gay-ass StarForce won't let me play the game, so I decided to come here to see how to bypass it. Apparently I have to use DAEMON Tools and SF Nightmare.

Two questions: How do I "mount" an image in DAEMON? I'm fairly new to this stuff, so go easy on me. :P Second, is SF Nightmare safe? I'm very skeptical on it because I know it disables your drives, and I've heard it's destroyed some people's computers...

Any helpful comments are appreciated.

EDIT: If there are safe alternatives to SF Nightmare, please let me know.

1st: Blazing Angels on CD-R?? I thought it is on DVD...
2nd: Read the FAQ (http://fileforums.com/showthread.php?t=73906). It will help you :)

P.S: Or is there a CD-Version?

Yep, there is. The PC version I got is on CD-ROM software. I made a backup of the first disc (only one you need to play the game) on a CD-R...

OK, then I think you have good chances!
Ask Proton911 (http://fileforums.com/member.php?u=91314), he should be able to help you!

Of course there are also other members who could help you, but I don't know everybody :)

If you don't have the original disc in your possession then this thread will be closed. Not having the original disc is considered WAREZ!!

Contact the publisher for help on buying a replacement CD!

Your accusation is somewhat offensive... I have the original with me, but disc 1 is missing. I however can take a digital picture of the case and other CD's.

Also, your post does not really help in any way...

If you don't possess ALL the original discs then you don't own a legal copy of the game, period! Better find disc 1 quick!

And why would anyone try to help when you admit to not having all the original discs?

Because I lost the disc. I tend to lose things. I'm human. I want to play this game, so I need my CD-R to work. I am only asking for help. Why must you be so arrogant? Your posts do not help me, so I want to stop this before it escalates into a heated arguement.

He knows the BOARD RULES (http://www.fileforums.com/showthread.php?t=54193).
Because of Board Rule #3 this thread is closed now.

Hellbringer : we have to follow the rules here, that's why it's better to get your backup working before something happens to the originals. Contact the publisher for a replacement.
