Hi,
How do i instal this file; "iBM_MGPK_V2.2.zip" into ps2 with crystal chip?

You have to install the CC's Boot Mnager first. The you can install the apps on the mega pack CD to Boot Mnager.

Thanx for the reply m8, i'm not sure which CC Boot Mnager to install for ps2 crystal chip because i'm not sure what version of crystal chip i have in the ps2 or any CC Boot Mnager would do for any crystal chip.

The hacked firmware R19 is the most resent version. It also comes with BM 1.8 which is also the most resent. Install the firmware first. Then install BM to your memory card. Then boot up the mega-pack and you will then be able to install the apps on it to BM.

It doesnt matter what version CC you have. The firmware will work with all current version.

Thanx again for the information & installation instructions, i have installed the boot manager 1.8 when i tried to install the BM_MGPK_V2.2 it gave me this main menu, memory card still in:

Boot media
Application browser
Memory card manager
Configuration
System information

I ticked each one of them & all i see is another page with 'back' asking me to go back to main menu. I'm not sure what to do next could you please help again! thank you.

With the mega pack disc in the PS2 boot up your PS2. When BM boots select "Application browser" right away, then select "install applications" you will need to wait a few seconds while BM searches for the installable apps. Once it has found them all you will see the list of apps you can install. The just select the app you would like and BM will install it.

Nothing is happening; blue screen with 'back' on it, waited few minutes still bleu screen; probably i'm using the wrong file, 'BM_MGPK_V2.2', for my crystal chip 1.0. I have downloaded other files for BM 1.8; one of them would be the right file:
BM Mega Pack v1.5
BM Mega Pack V1
BM Mega Pack 2.2HDL
BM Mega Pack 2.0HDL R2G
BM Mega Pack 2.0HDL R2E
BM Mega Pack 2.0HDL
BM Mega Pack 2.0

You should be using the most resent mega pack which is V2.23 have a look here

This pack will not have HDL on it but it will have the folder and scripts. You will just need to put your own version of HDL in the folder then run makefile and it will make a bin/cue for you. Just read the readme, it explains it all.
