i picked up a game "Viet Cong" at a yard sale the other day. my question is the game doesn't seem to allow multi profiles. can i install the game twice in two different folders in my program directory to allow different user settings and saved games, when i try the only option i get is to uninstall or play. reason being my son and i both like to play shooter games but on different skill levels and also with our own progress. i don't know if this is possible so i'm asking if anyone has tried this before. i have also installed the v1-01_US_only patch,v130 patch,v141 patch,v160 patch. i've searched google and haven't found a patch allowing multi profiles like in Viet Cong 2

Why dont you just give it a try ?
Try installing it a second time and see if it works. If not, then not ;)
I never tried that as I do not have children, so... and my girlfriend only plays ProEvo 5 which lets you save single savegames :)

nah...i already tried that all i get is the stupid option to play or uninstall...only thing i could come up with was making two different folders in the program directory and moving the saved games back and forth depending on whose playing.

Maybe just give everyone their own saves (you : 1-5, him : 6-10) and backup the savegames (copy them somewhere else) after each time you play. That way you have the least hassle and you're still ok if someone overwrites the other one's savegames by mistake.
