Hi! I am presentally playing Tomb Raider: Legend and I am up to the Tokoyo level. I am in the part that you need to break the wires to make the big screen tv fall, but sadly, on my game the precision shooting doesn't work. Can someone give me advice? or tell me how i get into precision aiming or whatever its called?

I have already played the game to the end.
If i remember correctly, then you don't need to shoot on the metal thing of the tv screen. You have to use the magnet-hook !!!

Thank you so much! I read the game guide and it says you have to shoot the 2 metal hooks on the top of the tv. But, i am still not sure though, because i keep hitting the shiny metal thing in the middle of the tv, so i am not sure of you go them messed up or not. I will try though, thanks! :D

You have to shoot at the two hooks (manual aiming) ... see HERE (http://tombraidergirl.net/help/tr7/tokyo07.jpg).
Then you have to use the magnet-hook with the symbol in the middle of the tv-screen.
There will be two Yakuza behind the screen.

(I don't know the buttons you have to press, because i played it on PC, not on PlayStation.)

After all this time you spent trying to find out, why didnt you just goto the place where you rented the game and ask to the see the manual.

And usually most places who rent out games have a printed out insert on the companies case that shows controls so they dont give out booklets or manuals.

Of course you will thats how it works, you rent for a few days and return

What your saying is you have kept the game and dont intend to take it back?

Aren't there shops that let you rent the game for X percent of its price and then you can either take it back after Y days or buy it and own it afterwards?

Why don't you (ask your dad to) call the shop and ask for options about returning your purchased item?!

i have purchased an original copy and i cannot install it

near the end it says it cannot find "trl.dat" file. i try to open the file and i cant do that either. it says that there is no file or file problem. i've try it to an other pc and everything was fine. it installed perfectly. no problem.

what am i suppesed to do? what is the problem?
i think that i 'm the first person who has such a problem...

my pc has all the requirements...is it the DVD-Rom firmware?
i have a dvd-rw nec and a dvd-rom

Go back to the store and ask if you can swap it for another copy. Dud cd's happen all the time. If that also doesn't work, you'll need a new drive...

maybe your computer has a bug in it. try taking all the tomb raider stuff out, run a virus scan, then put everything back in. it might of skipped downloading the file or something
