does anyone know if the Fixed Image for Colin McRae 2005 works?

Yes it does- I'm not using it anymore, but you may have to use 'starforce nightmare' with it.

i downloaded it off gamecopyworld and when i mount it and run the game i get a message saying please insert correct cd, the image appears to have nothing on it

Well the basics are: Install your game from the original discs.
Once installed, mount the mini image in either one of Alcohol 120%'s or Daemon Tools virtual drives.
A window will open which looks as if it is the contents of the CD/DVD. It is not the contents it just looks like it is! Close this window and start the game from the original shortcut which sits on the desktop or from the shortcut in the start/programs menu.
A mini image only contains enough information (the protection info) to trick the game into thinking you have the original disc inserted.

Notes:


1. Burn DVD image or mount it.
2. Install the game (plus polish patch if you want).
3. Insert ANY CD into the drive ("Don't cry for me Argentina").
4. Enjoy our work like Codemasters does.
