Dear all,
i am searching for an nocd patch for // take command 2nd manassas //
new battle game from paradox Studios. Pls. note, its not for the demo, its for the real game.
Very bad, put in the cd, put out the cd, search for the cd, and in two months
i need an cd trash.
Can anybody help me or send me an patch.

Just tried to aply the fixed exe for Take Command: 2nd Manassas to my original game, but somehow it seems that it screws the game up, No units can be selected and orders can not be given....
This problem does not turn up when playing with the original exe and the cd inserted.
Does anybody have a solution for this? Maybe another fixed exe. (not deviance) or can anybody fix the fixed exe ?

Yes, same problem with the fixed exe.
Yes, the problem is still the same with the version 4.20 exe.
Have been searching the net for a mini image all day, but with no luck.
The copy protection is securom v.7 is there any way that I, as a total newbie, can make my own mini image of the game ?
I have alcohol 120 %
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I was wondering if there is any news on this protectionfront - the fixed .exe solution from the almighty, prised and beloved 'Deviance' group didn't work as intended, screwing up the whole game (as posted elsewhere too). Is there going to be a fix for that one? Or has anyone another solution up his/her sleeve?? I do hope so, for after all we are used to superb work form deviance...

Does also not work with the German version.

Not that I know of. I have been looking around a bit, but as far as I can tell there is still no solution out there that does the trick (not for the English version and not any other versions). Seems to be kind of a hard to beat protection...
I got it to work by making an Image of my orig. Game with Alcohol. Just made it with Securom 4.x/5.x Settings.
Then mounted it with the latest version of curerom (its version 2.0.1) and it works.

Not to forget I used curerom with Deamon Tools 4.
I have also used the TC2M 2.40 No-CD Crack, and it screws the game up. If anyone has a solution please tell! Thanks

No, as far as I know there is still no fixed version of the no-cd exe for that game, and yes the existing version screws up the game to make it pretty much unplayable.

...although the game DOES work fine with the original disk (patched or unpatched - but use the patch because it fixes quite some problems) - so I guess the problem is just the no-cd crack that is not working (for either the normal version nor the patched version).

I downloaded and installed Curerom 2.0.2. (the latest now). Then copied back the original patch exe file back to the game folder. Configured Curerom the same way showed in Curerom's Tutorials for another game. Mounted the bin image in Daemon Tools 4.03HE and closed it according with the tutorial. Opened the game with Curerom. Didn't work.
Tryed to uninstall the game and install it again using Curerom. Repeated the procedures. Nothing.
Conclusion - it's some other kind of protection.

Is there another no-cd patch? I didn't find anyother while searching. One from "Unleashed" you say? Interesting. As far as the talk goes, there should be another official patch coming up, because there seem to be some guys out there that have severe problems with the copy protection of their original disks. So it looks like there is something more wrong there than meets the eye in the first place.

That's right, Unleashed is good at only two things:
- creating warez clones of games,
- stealing orig exes from d2d's/trials and posting 'em as cracks of their own.
Generally, it's a pathetic scene group. Not worthy of respect that DEViANCE and RELOADED deserve. Say NO to warez. Say NO to Unleashed.

There is in p2p (eMule) a game version for the 2nd Manassas from Unleashed with 5 files: a BWI, a BWS, a BWA, a BWT and a nfo.
I downloaded the nfo and it reads the following:

The new patch 2.51 for the CD game is up, you can find it here (http://www.madminutegames.com/support.htm)! There is also another patch (don't know the version #) for the downloadable game.
As the existing no-cd crack for the 2.40 cd version (this one (http://m0001.gamecopyworld.com/games/pc_take_command.shtml)) doesn't work properly, I would like to know if someone is going to do (a proper) one for 2.51.

It has been so long waiting for a no cd patch for this game and there has been no news of anyone trying. The only thing i saw was a note in a readme file that said the BWclone team was trying to create a working crack... but its been months, does anyone know where to go to find news about these things?
