Godfather Qeustion. Please help!!

[HELP!]

Hello everybody,

I have a problem with the game. When I enter de serial code, the serial code is correctly! The there comes a screen that say`s.

Installation canot contiune because this game requires Direct X 9.0 c or higher to be installated on your system. You can download it at www.microsoft.com.

But i have tried this serveral times but it didn`t work. I had the same problem with neef for speed most wanted. That problem i solved by changing some text in a textfile. What i had to change in the text was. DirectX 9.0 C >> DirectX 0.
That worked with that game.

But with the godfather game, i have a textfile but its not writen the same text as Need for speed most wanted.

I had the same error, turns out that some of my directx files were corrupted. Download this program:http://www.softpedia.com/get/Security/Secure-cleaning/DirectX-Eradicator.shtml to uninstall directx. Then you should be able to reinstall it from the microsoft website.
