Wow, you managed to physically convert the multiple CD's into one DVD? (Otherwise, how come you don't have the CD's anymore...?)

I do have all the CDs, but it would be nice to chuck them out & have just the DVD. I mean, what's the use of converting the CDs to a DVD anyway? :D

Well, the purpose of this site is rather preserving your original CD's/DVD's and playing games (takes a lot of time, raising the probability of braking the original; especially with kids and pets around!) from backups or the hard disk. Having to get the original CD/DVD from the shelf about once a year, for an installation (done by you, neither your kid or your pet ;)), shouldn't be that much of a hassle... ;)

@abhayananth
You need to read this updated conversion, it deals with the CD4 problem, it can be found here (http://www.fileforums.com/showthread.php?t=74135).
(Its post #3 (http://www.fileforums.com/showpost.php?p=312900&postcount=3))

Also just to clarify something:
which i converted to a dvd version, thanks to help from grumpy.....
I didnt write the conversions, I just posted them! Ewoud, Darkleftos and madmax4 are the guys who deserve the credit for the Sims conversions. ;)

but it would be nice to chuck them out

Why would you want to do that?
