For some reason, spysweeper shows it as a trojan and asks to remove it. I got it from a reputable site (gamecopyworld) and also from another reputable site (*************), and its the same thing. No other scanners besides spysweeper show it as a trojan though.

Should i keep it or remove it? thanks

upload the file to www.virustotal.com and see what all the different virus scanners say about it.

Hi mate, I'd give Ad-Aware a shot, its free and is the best most compact spyware sniffer going. It can detect all sorts of trojans\worms n what not too.

that link might be wrong, just type "lavasoft" in google if it isn't the right site :)

or just go to the ZDNet download section and grab it there.

When you compare the original exe with the cracked one you will find out, that there are only 5 bytes changed.
There is no spyware/trojan added !!!

Maybe Spysweep got paid to list it as a trojan, or even more likely the original exe is a dormant trojan.

BTW, just got oblivion and didnt find the no-dvd after 2 searches on GCW. Seems like it should be easier to find. No worries, I got my other games on no-cd so can leave the OBliv CD in. Havent been buying anything lately so I havent needed to come here lately. Good games are really drying up.

I think you're either jaded, expecting too much or not looking hard enough. There have been plenty of good games in the past year. It just seems that people have a very short attention span these days and expect a new game every few days.
There are more good games these days than at any time in the past, and I've been a gamer for 20 years now. Very few of the games from the first 15 years hold much of a place in my memory, because they just weren't that good. (the notable exceptions are Dune 2, MOO and XCom).

btw The no-DVD fix is on the first page of this website.

Where can I find the no dvd exe at gamecopyworld? I looked but could not find.

NeverMind, I was looking under oblivion and elder scrolls, but not "the elder scrolls" thanks anyway.
