newsgroup proggie dabhand, aint too bad either, dont know if the site is up or down, too busy atm... chances are though that the user might be using a cracked version where the newsleecher.com site is blocked in the hosts.dat... just a guess though :)

Ahhh a news grabber, I was wondering why he was talking about another site.

A bit confused I was.

I prefer Newsbin Pro and its affordable too.

oh no no...ive paid for it fully....$34.99. i bought it last year so I could have full access to the supersearch..cus im only on 2MB..so downloading headers takes hours and bandwidth I don't have. Apparantly the site isn't down. I just cant get access to it at all. I'm not very computer savvy so I'm not sure what it is :/

I guess I'll just email them.

Thank you.

I've tried pinging but I time out. I've spoken to my ISP and they are trying to sort it.

Thanks again!

Oh not at all. Your advice was spot on.

My company uses USENET all the time. I work for a multimedia company and we upload GB's of data (video mainly but also super high-def pictures) a day. I use Newsleecher's super search so I can easily access certain files I need in the day when I need to at home. I don't like downloading the headers because it adds to my already low monthly download allowance.

*thumbs up*
