Help with WINLOCK [Archive]

I've made a backup of a playstation game which I've tried using WinLock on to copy-protect it to stop other people from copying from that disc. Everything has gone as expected, the files have been written and at 99% it errors (which its apparently supposed to do) I was wondering if theres a way to check if the backup will play on a chipped playstation? (without actually having one, since mine is now faulty) I've acquired an emulator which plays the non-protected backup of the game, however the copy-protected backup doesn't seem to load. Any ideas?

I have also tried WinLocks official site www.diamondcdroms.co.uk which doesn't seem to be running anymore.

Why would you make a backup if your Playstation doesn't work anymore?
Surely not for someone else as that is illegal.
