World of Warcraft...have I been had?

I bought a used copy of World of Warcraft the other day, and was told that both the game key and the guest key were unused...however, in reality only the guest key was unused. As a result, my account will be shut off in ten days...is there absolutely no recourse for me, other than spending another $50 on a new game so that I can get the key?
