Black and white 2

I am playing B&W2 using my mini DVD image I have d/l here.

Now question is, if I update to 1.1 could I still use the image? There are no newer versions to this patch?

I have searched the B&W2 threads here with no one addressing this question of patch, help would be appreciated (since it's very convinent to leave my BF2 CD in side while switching immediately to B&W2 for some easy play...)

The best answer is: why don't you try it yourself?

If there has been enough time between the release and the 1.1 update, the publisher may have found a way to get an update copy protection that finds out you're using an image in a virtual CD/DVD emulator rather than the original CD/DVD. Then it won't work. ;)

Hey mate that was a pretty good answer! I didn't realise there was a 1.1 patch out for this game. there's also a 1.2 patch if your interested...

Just tested both with B&W2 and they both work with the latest mini image from GCW with no problem in Daemon Tools 4.03 -no emulation
