the game is protected by starforce 3.7 - so it can take alot of time to crack the game - btw the game is imho not so good - the car sounds are terrible... and the gameplay too

Aw geez....this game has StarForce protection eh? Welp, that means I jam this game straight back to the store. Good thing I checked here before opening it. I just walked in the door with it and checked here for a NoCD fix....guess I can forget that idea. :(

No warning of any kind that it had SF protection anywhere on the box....I thought I would be safe......sigh.....

Gawd!! This protection really needs to be outlawed. I buy only a few games for PC since I HATE FPS games (which is like 98% of what most PC games are :rolleyes: ).....and they had to put this SF virus/rootkit (whatever) crap in it. I'll not put this StarForce infestation in ANY of my PC's, I want them to work CORRECTLY, not start refusing to burn disks or kill my Liteon DVD-R drive just to play a game. Them dodgy bastards!

lol I just cant understand why publishers put Starforce on crappy games. If anything is going to speed bad word-of-mouth along, it's a combination of a shitty game and Starforce.

It's clear, if starfutz or (vurtz) is on crapy gamez, nobody know that's a crapy game, before itself have buy it, and publisher have the money in the poket for shiot game that otherwise nobody will buy.

Each day poeple die, nobody's perfekt..................;)

Read the FAQ; there are other emulator hiders than Starfucker.

Read the FAQ; there are other emulator hiders than Starfucker. You don't have to hide DT4, but your optical IDE drives ;)

@nemo23
Starting with version 3.5 SFNightmare and Starfucker are only capable of hiding optical IDE drives with only a few chipsets (e.g. many nForce 3/4 boards)

- Mount image with DT4
- Start SFNightmare 1.12 (easier to use than Starfu.) and click on 'Disable CD'
- Start the game (if possible with your chipset)
- After playing (or not playing) click on 'Enable CD'

If this doesn't work, you MUST unplug your optical IDE drives as stated in the nfo of the MI (off course PC should be off)

P.S.: Can someone confirm that this MI works at all ?
