Hello everyone, i am a little bit new in all this, but i think i have a good question for all those who are experienced.
After reading lots of threads and post, everywhere, i could not understand why its not possible to make a mini image of GT Legends, as we can with regular games with this type of protection. Ive been looking for it for a long time, why? you'll ask, why don´t you run it by the "regular" way, and it`s just because i have a FAT32 partition (can´t have a single file of 4GB because of the win filesystem) so that i cant emulate the dvd, thats why i couldn´t run it and i am looking for the mini image.

Well, i hope you understand my problem and anybody can help me!.
Ejem... sorry about my english, i speak spanish :D

Thanks for reading
bye!

Most SF titles since v3.4.? use a varying ISO check; so no chance for a real mini/maxi image, as checked sectors are always different.
Why don't you just let Alcohol split your image into 2GB chunks ?

P.S.: If your drives aren't capable and you need a mds for a splitted image PM me

mmm... i did the splited image, tried the game (by the reguar way) but it didn't work (i remember reading something about splited images, that doesn't work with this type of protection), so, that was another reason for the mini image, anyway the splited one didn't work for me, may be i need what you say (that file), could you just attach it please :D

Thanks for the answer.

I've also read that, but after a test with GTL it's at least not true for me (but i tested with NTFS system).
Sorry, can't attach anything else.

Thanks for the file, but is there an especific file size to use the mds file, or i just split the DVD image and mount it with alcohol??...

Gonna try this, again thanks...

...is there an especific file size to use the mds file, or i just split the DVD image and mount it with alcohol??... Open mds file with a Hex Editor, scroll a little down and you will find "*.mdf.*.md0.*.md1" -> three image parts, so this one was splitted every 2GB

Noup! :( Tried it but i could not make it work... I just follow those steps put it didn't work with my splitted image... :(

Bad Luck!!!!!!

1. You must have Windows XP with SP2 in order of playing Worms4
2. IDE PCI Controller Drivers MUST be OS STANDARD IDE PCI Drivers.
3. Unpack file sfcure01 that's in tools.rar and launch file !setup.bat
through MS-Dos Prompt and reboot your box.
4. If u have AMD64, then use sfcure_x64 that works same way as the other.
5. Check if all option of Daemon or Alcohol are activated especially
RMPS option.
6. Mount Alcohol 120% img and install the game.
7. Once installation is complete, launch sfdrup.exe to update StarForce3
drivers and reboot the box.
8. Launch through MS-Dos Prompt the file !start.bat that's in the unpacked
file sfcure01.
9. Unpack file sfn.rar e launch sfn.exe (StarForce Nightmare 1.12)
10 Select in this order "Disable node" , "Disable CD" , "Disable node" , and
the IDE channel you use for real CD/DVD units (Pr. Slave , Sc. Master o Sc.Slave ) , depending on how your IDE units are connected
11. Launch the game and use this serial: (the serial was right but i can't post it here)
12. Play.

There are sooo many SF related threads in which it is mentioned that since version 3.5 you can forget SFN, you must unplug your drives !! (there are exceptions e.g. with nForce3/4 Motherboards)

P.S.
- When using DT4 there's absolutely no need to use SFCure
- When mounting an image you NEVER need to activate any emulation (only needed for burned discs)
- better ask here before using dumb instructions in nfo's
